New Delhi: Sonia Gandhi, 67, is Congress chief and
active in politics since 1997 but it is very interesting that Bollywood
item girl Rakhi Sawant is richer than the Congress supremo.
According to the official information submitted by both to Election Commission during filing their nominations, Rakhi Sawant has property of Rs 14.69 crore while the Congress chief has assets worth Rs. 2.81 crore.
In the papers, Rakhi has declared herself as ‘Illiterate’ in the Education qualification section.
The 35-year-old actress-turned politician has started her filmy career from 1997.
On other hand, the Congress leader has refused to become Prime Minister in 2004 after victory in LS polls is not as rich as the item girl.
Sonia has filed her nomination papers from Rae Bareli, Uttar Pradesh while Rakhi filed papers from Mumbai North-west seat.
