'I have been thinking of getting a dog for the last four years. But the thought of caring for it made me back out.'
'After Khatron..., I have conquered some of that fear. I should soon make up my mind and get a dog.'
Mugdha Godse, on her Khatron Ke Khiladi experience.
I hate creepy crawlies. I have never dealt with them. In fact, I don't even have a dog at home. I don’t know how to can't handle a dog,” says Mugdha Godse.
Yet, the Fashion actress was brave enough to take part in television show Khatron Ke Khiladi that tests your fear levels, and last three whole weeks!
“I used to watch the other versions of this stunt-based show when I was a kid. I was so fascinated that I always wanted to be a part of it some day,” she says, adding that she was ‘thrilled’ to be a part of it.

Television is a huge medium and coming on a stunt-based show was the right thing as it’s a completely different concept,” she says.
Was there anything she dreaded having to do on the show?
“Yes. I knew I would somehow manage the height and water stunts, but the task involving creepy crawlies or animals was the major fear.”
Mugdha was eliminated after an electrocution stunt. But for her, the most dangerous was the 'crocodiles in a tank' stunt.
“Actually, I had decided that I won't do that stunt and will go home. But it was a question of reputation; I didn't want to go out in the first elimination. Physically, it wasn’t a difficult task but mentally it was because I was petrified,” she admits.

Has she conquered her fears?
“I have been thinking of getting a dog for the last four years. But the thought of caring for it made me back out.
“I think after Khatron... I have conquered some of that fear. I should soon make up my mind and get a dog,” she said smiling.

The actress says it was quite funny to watch her doing the stunts on a reality show.
“Actually it turned out to be a comedy show for my family and friends. They feel that I added humour to the show,” she says.
During the shooting of the show, the other contestants teased Mugdha and Ranvir Shorey and called them ‘RaMu.’
“You can call him my on-screen partner -- nothing more than that. This teasing was just for fun, as we used to tease other contestants too,” Mugdha clarifies.

Mugdha, who has acted in glamorous roles in films like Fashion and All The Best says, “I have worked with Rohit Shetty (the host of Khatron Ke Khiladi) before. He is a balanced, strict yet relaxed personality.”
Though she started off in films, Mugdha has been seen a lot on television.
She recently judged a Marathi reality show and is open to do more reality shows.
“Yes. I want to do something which suits my brand. I come from a modelling background. I love this (TV) medium but I want to do something which makes a difference or gives freshness to the show.
“I don’t mind fiction shows either provided it has something related to my expertise. Hosting a show is not my cup of tea.”
She has got other television offers but nothing is finalised yet, she says.
Recently, there were reports of Mugdha dating actor Rahul Dev.
“I have already said that we are friends. I have a few friends in the industry and he is somebody I can count on,” she says firmly.
