Raveena Tandon, Neil Nitin campaigned for ruling BJD candidates in Odisha
Bhubaneswar: Bollywood actors Raveena Tandon and Neil Nitin Mukesh on Tuesday joined the list of Hindi film stars who hit the campaign trail in Odisha during the 2014 twin polls. Earlier, action hero Suniel Shetty and actress Mahima Choudhary too were seen wooing voters in the state.

Raveena campaigned for Odia cine star Pappu Pom Pom aka Tatwa Prakash Satpathy, who is fighting his maiden Assembly elections in a BJD ticket from Champua Assembly constituency.

The other Bollywood actor, who was seen sweating in the streets of Odisha on the final day of campaigning for the second phase polls, was Neil Nitin Mukesh. He canvassed votes for another BJD debutant in the Assembly polls this time Priyadarshi Mishra. People in the streets of the state capital turned up in good numbers to have a gaze at the Hindi cinema hero as Neil Nitin joined the road shows at various places in the North Bhubaneswar MLA constituency.

But the last day did not belong to Raveena and Neil Nitin alone, even a galaxy of Odia film actors were seen campaigning for the ruling BJDat various places on the final day of campaigning. Thos Ollywood actors who campaigned for BJD were Mahasweta Ray, Anubhav Mohanty, Sidhant Mohapatra, Akash Dasnayak and Mihir Das.

The two veterans of Odia cinema Bijay Mohanty and Aparajita Mohanty, who have been fielded by the Congress in prestigious Bhubaneswar and Cuttack Lok Sabha seats respectively, also made the most of the final day campaigning.
