Anurag Kashyap threw a wrap up party for the cast and crew of Bombay Velvet. The bash was attended by major big wigs of the industry including the film’s lead actor Ranbir Kappor, Karan Johar who is playing villain in the film, Remo Fernandez, Vikram Aditya Motwane, Siddhartha Basu, Vikas Bahl among others. However, the film’s leading lady Anushka Shrma was missing from the celebration. Par kyun?
Was Virat Kohli the reason why Anushka missed BV’s event? Though, we are not saying this, Anushka’s good friend and co-star Karan Johar said this at the party. When the media questioned on Anushka absence at the event, a jovial Karan said, “Cricket chal raha hai na dekh lo.” So what was the Koffee with Karan host hinting at?
However, after a good laugh Kashyap was quick to add, “She is shooting in Jodhpur.” Anushka had also tweeted the reason for her absence, she wrote, “Won’t b able 2 attend #BombayVelvet wrap party tonight.Shooting 4 #NH10 in Rajasthan.Will miss my BV gang.I’ll hVe one(espresso) 4 d team (sic).”
The BV team announced the release date of the film which is November 28. Also, as reported earlier the film is not clashing with Raju Hirani’s Aamir Khan starrer P.K as they have postponed their release date to December 19.
