Match Status : Scores delayed by 15 mins India won by 73 runs

That ends the double-header for today. One semi-final has already been lined up, it will be India taking on South Africa. However, there are four more games before that. Tomorrow it will be England against Netherlands and the second is Sri Lanka taking on New Zealand, the winner of which will advance to the semis. Join us for another exciting day of cricket. Until then, take care and Bye!
Dhoni: "We all know what a player Yuvi is. We need a player like him. He took his time and then expressed himself. This format ideally suits him. Once you play in for the first 15 balls, then you can express yourself in this format. What was important was that he gave himself time. He batted really well. In the middle overs he was not able to rotate the strike. But with the firepower we have we knew that the set batsman can make it up. Among all the openers in the IPL, Jinks has played well. This was an oportunity to give him a game. Shikhar had a rest. He had time to think about his game. We have some fantastic spinners. We are playing 3 proper spinners. Raina also comes in. There was no dew at all. In the previous games, there was some dew. We need a day off to rest. We may come down for a game of soccer. Going for 15 sprints will be too much on the boys. We have been playing continuously. Soccer is something that the boys enjoy."
Bailey: "To a certain degree, we planned to pack our team with batters. We lacked game sense and match awareness in all three innings. None of the batsmen anchored the innings. The pitch did not grip too much. No more than we were prepared for. T20 is not about hit and a giggle. Hopefully, we put a decent show against the hosts and it is something to remember"
Ashwin: "It was not a bad wicket to bowl on. Credit to the batters. 160 was just par. The way we have been bowling we were confident to defend that. The line I am bowling is not too wide outside off. The first couple of balls in the over are important. If you are tight, the batsman will try to do something different or slog across the line. We were stretched a great deal today. We were 65-4 at one point. We cannot stretch ourselves further. Yuvi and Dhoni played well. We knew the conditions well. It (the pitch) is not like the one in Chittagong. We hold the aces."
Ashwin is the Man of the Match for his figures of 4 for 11.
Indian bowlers will be happy with this outing. They were bowling second and the bowlers responded well. Bhuvneshwar and Mohit started well as they got the ball to seam around. Once the initial pressure was created, the spinners came on and took control of the game. Ashwin was the pick as he scalped four wickets and got his best T20I figures. Mishra and Jadeja gave him good support as they picked 3 wickets between them. The fielding too was excellent, they didn't drop any catches and hung on to whatever came their way. Overall a splendid performance from India who look the side to beat with each passing game. Stay tuned for the presentation....
This was supposed to be the toughest game for India but it turned out to be the most one-sided match they have played. Finch and Warner could not get going as the new ball bowlers were tight in their line and lengths. Once the spinners came they tried to hit their way out but only kept picking the fielders in the deep. Maxwell came in like thunder and went like lightning. Hodge tried to steady a sinking ship but it was beyond him to repair the damage done.
16.2 Ashwin to Muirhead, out Caught by Dhoni!! India annihilate Australia by 73 runs. This was the quicker delivery close to off, Muirhead backs away and tries to cut, he only manages to get a snick to Dhoni who throws the ball up. Ashwin ends with a four wicket haul, his best figures in T20I. Muirhead c Dhoni b Ashwin 3(7)

15.5 Mishra to Muirhead, no run, another wrong'un, Muirhead picks it well and cuts it straight to backward point
15.4 Mishra to Bollinger, 1 run, googly which is short in length, Bollinger drags the pull wide of the Mishra

Doug Bollinger, left handed bat, comes to the crease
15.2 Mishra to Hodge, out Caught by Ravindra Jadeja!! The Aussies seem to be finding the fielders to perfection. They even don't seem to be learning from the mistakes commmited from the previous batsmen. Flighted delivery outside off, Hodge slog sweeps, the ball flies off the top edge to long on, Jadeja gets under it and takes it with ease. India have been brilliant with their catching today. 14.3 Ravindra Jadeja to Hodge, out Starc Run Out!! Is this the same Australian team that has been doing well before this tournament started? There was never a run and Starc pays the price for that. Slower and outside off, Hodge guides it towards backward point, he calls for a quick single, Raina is quick to get there and release the ball, Dhoni does the rest. Starc run out (Raina/Dhoni) 2(4)
