Chutki loses Maneesh in 'Mad in India'

New Delhi: Sunil Grover`s popular comedy show `Mad In India` has lost its host Manish Paul. In early March rumours of Manish leaving the show came to the surface, but the television actor-compere squashed the rumours.
A popular daily has reported that Maneesh, who is the host for the show is set to leave the show over differences with the script writers. Even with the hype of Sunil Grover making a comeback to television as Chutki, the show has not made a mark with the audiences.

The daily quoted a source as saying, "The makers are mulling over replacing Manish or completely revamping the show. There is a strong buzz that it might see an early end."

Interestingly Paul had href="http://zeenews.india.com/entertainment/and-more/most-of-it-is-impromptu-manish-paul-on-hosting_150150.html" target="_self">earlier stated that he preferred hosting alone and that much of the comedy on screen in `Mad in India` was impromptu and not scripted.

The `Mickey Virus` star who had started out as a radio jockey has already hosted a variety of shows, including dance reality show `Jhalak Dikhhla Ja` and is popular with the viewers. Him leaving the show will definitely be a big setback to `Mad in India`, but speculations are that he is leaving because of a film offer.

Maneesh has already starred in three big productions including `Tees Maar Khan`, `ABCD: Anybody Can Dance` in special roles and in `Mickey Virus` as the lead. He is currently shooting for `Tere Bin Laden 2`
