Ankit Modgill to enter as Jyoti’s saviour in IPKKND-EBP

Star Plus’ Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon – Ek Baar Phir (Sphere Origins) will see a new entry in tonight’s episode in actor Ankit Modgill.
Ankit who earlier essayed the role of Amreek Singh in Colors’ Bani – Ishq Da Kalma will be a saviour for Jyoti (Sheetal Dabholkar) who has run away from home as per the ongoing track.
Ankit who was roped in to play the lead in Life OK’s musical love story is no longer part of that project. He will now be seen in a spirited avatar in the Star Plus show.
A source tells us, “Ankit will essay the role of Siddharth who is a struggling journalist fond of writing articles and blogs. A typical extrovert by nature, and a positive person by heart, the guy will believe in living life to the fullest. Siddharth will bump into Jyoti when she is on the run. He will save her from the goons, and will also provide her shelter and make her comfortable.”
Furthermore, Siddharth will go on to be fresh breath of air in Jyoti’s otherwise mundane life where she has been facing trauma at the hands of her husband.
When contacted, Ankit confirmed that he is presently shooting for Iss Pyaar.

Sunny Leone’s ‘Ragini MMS 2′ earns over Rs 24 crore in opening weekend

 

The movie, which is a sequel to the hit 2011 film 'Ragini MMS', has witnessed a steady growth in numbers over the weekend.

Former adult film star turned Bollywood actress Sunny Leone’s recent release ‘Ragini MMS 2′ has hit a bullseye at the box office and managed to earn over Rs 24 crore in its opening weekend. (Read review: Ragini MMS 2)

The movie, which is a sequel to the hit 2011 film ‘Ragini MMS‘, has witnessed a steady growth in numbers over the weekend.

“#RaginiMMS2 *opening weekend* Rs 24.5 cr nett. India biz. Extraordinary!,” tweeted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh.

The movie, which was released on Friday (March 21), remained unaffected by the India-Pakistan match T 20 match, and managed to do good business.

“#RaginiMMS2 Fri 8.43 cr, Sat *est* 7.50 cr. India biz only… ₹ 24 cr to ₹ 25 cr nett weekend on the cards. Excellent!,” he further tweeted.

There were long queues of people seen outside theatres on Saturdays and Sundays in national capital New Delhi.

Indian Express critic Shubhra Gupta also praised Sunny Leone and wrote: “Sunny Leone fits her part like her tight sheaths, and makes ‘Ragini MMS 2′ Bollywood’s first unabashed adult sex-horror flick.”
